Garthmyl Hall, Powys
Garthmyl Hall, Wales
A weekend wedding takeover of a Georgian manor house in the Welsh countryside, all soft greens and golden hour photography. Set in Garthmyl Hall, Powys, this was one of those rare weddings where every detail seemed to fall into place — the light, the florals, the unhurried pace of the day.
From the first walk-through with the couple, we focused on building a sensory through-line: a colour palette pulled from the surrounding landscape, a soundtrack curated by the bride, and a flow that gave guests space to breathe between the bigger moments.
The styling leaned into the venue's character rather than papering over it — letting old stone, weathered timber and tall sash windows do half the work. Florals in soft, painterly tones. Tapers down the long table. A late-night cheese board that nobody wanted to leave.
If you're planning something similar — a single venue takeover for a weekend wedding, or a country house celebration with art-direction-led styling — we'd love to talk through how we could shape it for you.
